Today I'll be doing a review on one of my favourite pair of black contact lenses!
The pair of lenses I'm reviewing is the Blincon Disposable Cosmetic Contact Lenses in Smokey Black!
I got mine from CONTACT LENS SG but you can purchase the lenses from here!
The lenses are of a 14.5mm diameter and they are 58% Polyhema, 42% Water! I don't normally look at that but well some people might want to know so I'm just going to leave the information up there!
I don't have any pictures of the box the lenses come in I'm sorry, because well, I opened the lenses when I was offline for my blog so I didn't remember to take pictures for later usage sorry LOL
Close up of the lens! It has like streaks of grey and black so as to try and make the lenses look more realistic! :)
A quick look at their website will let you realise that ContactLensSG has prices that are 30-50% lower than the normal retail rates in Singapore! So think about the cheaper pricing + discount from my referral link + the additional discount if you buy the Acuvue lens! :O The amount that you can save.... you can probably buy a few more months worth of contact lens alr!!!
PS: If you're wondering why the website ends with a .my instead of .sg, it's because ContactLensSG actually has 4 physical shops in JB, Malaysia and they're venturing their business into Singapore through online platforms :) Hence this explains why prices are cheaper! If you're worried about the authenticity, you can always get yours checked at an optician shop. That's what I did because I wanted to make sure that products are reliable too!! We only have one pair of eyes, don't play play!!

Are you interested in becoming a Qoo10 seller?
We started off from Carousell because it is free and easy. Then we tried Shopee, which feels like a mix of Carousell and Qoo10. Now, we are also exploring the possibility of expanding our business to become a Qoo10 seller.
Unfortunately, Qoo10 is extremely difficult to use as a seller. We have spent more than a week just to figure out how we can leverage their tools. Their seller manual is so bad that you wouldn’t want to read them. It feels like they have directly translated their manual from Korean to English via Google Translate.Yes, that’s how bad it is. You won’t want to read it.
So if you are interested to set up a store on Qoo10, why not read what we have for you first? You know… since we have already gone through all the pain, we might as well contribute to the community.
How To Register As A Qoo10 Seller
First, you need to acquire a Qoo10 account and register that account as a Qoo10 seller. You can choose to register as an individual seller or as a business owner. If you want to use a business name, you have to register as a business owner. You do not need to submit any business license number. All you need is to upload your NRIC and bank statement to verify your identity and payout account.Qoo10 service centre operates on weekday during office hours. If you register your store on the weekend, you will have to wait until the next business day to verify your documents.
There is no charge in setting up a shop in Qoo10. However, you will need to top-up 10,000 Q-Cash (S$ 100) before you can register your store.
What is Q-Cash?
Q-Cash is the virtual currency used in Qoo10 for sellers to purchase marketing opportunities on their platform. In another words, you use Q-Cash to buy their advertising spaces.
There are a couple of tools on Qoo10. To give you a quick sense, you can buy a space at the top of a specific search result for 100 Q-Cash (S$ 1) daily. This enables buyers to see your items before they see the rest, which can help in increasing sales.
We discuss more about this in the later part of this series.
How Much Did Qoo10 Charge For Transaction?
Unlike Carousell or Shopee, Qoo10 does not offer free transaction. Qoo10 deducts Service Fee for each transaction and the fee varies across the seller tiers. There are three tiers – Normal, Good and Power. The higher tier you are, the cheaper the service fee.
A newcomer is entitled to 12% service fee. Supposed we made a deal for S$ 10 and our shipping fee costs S$ 1, the total transaction is S$ 11. Qoo10 deducts 12% from S$ 11. We will only receive S$ 9.68 from the deal.
Total Transaction Amount = Selling Price + Optional Fee + Shipping Fee (Discounted fee is excluded)(S$10 + S$1) – 12% = S$9.68
Is There Any Hidden Cost For Qoo10 Seller?

There are tools in Qoo10 platform which you can use to “discount” your item. The caveat is you have to bear the cost.
WHATTTTT! What do you mean we have to bear the cost!
When Qoo10 says that they are excluding discounted fee from total charge, they really mean that they will make sure their service fee remains the same. Take a look at this:
Yes yes, there is no discount amount in this particular transaction. The main point is to show you guys an example of the terms Qoo10 uses.
Qoo10 Service fee depends only on Item price and Shipping rate. Supposed we gave a S$ 5 discount for a S$10 item with S$ 1 shipping cost, our total transaction amount remains as S$ 11 instead of S$ 6. The service fee remains as S$ 1.32 instead of S$0.72.
That is the cost that you have to bear if you decided to give discounts.
Qoo10 Charges GST for Service FeeYup. That’s right.
We couldn’t find this anywhere on their seller’s manual. This is quite a sneaky attack, eh?
Okay What Else…
That’s about what you need to know as a new Qoo10 seller.
If you are already selling on Carousell or Shopee, we suggest to go ahead try Qoo10. Despite the fact that they have many hidden costs and an almost-unable-to-understand-kind of seller manual, we have to admit Qoo10 already has an attractive and large audience readily for you.For those who are new to online business, I suggest you start on Carousell or Shopee first to test the market. Bear in mind that Q-Cash is not refund-able. If you are starting something new, it’s always good to evaluate your items in other platforms first before going for a paid version.

All the awesome things this product claims to do are stated on the back of the packaging. But if you haven't heard of this crazily raved product or seen the magical video of how it changes your dull and horrible complexion into a flawless looking one in mere 5 minutes, then you should know that MKUP boasts of this complexion cream as the only product ladies need, for EVERYTHING.
Be it as skincare, or cosmetic.
Be it day routine, or night routine.
You just need this ONE bottle.
Like, really?
Anyway, over to the packaging first, which I really like. The entire packing was really pretty (pinkish, rose print and all) and handy.
And having the cream kept in a push down air pump means no chance of product contamination. Usually, just 1 full pump is enough for me to apply the cream all over my face and neck.
And after blending it out, TADAA~!
You can see absolutely NO effects!
Everything MKUP's video claimed to do, all the concealing of undereye circles, redness from blemishes, dilated pores and etc, it doesn't.
If you apply more, thinking that the no visible effect is because of too little product applied, then you'll end up with a ghastly white cast.
The whole claim of how we can substitute everything (skincare included) in our routine with just this 1 bottle is also a huge fraud.
Don't fall for it, ladies!
The ONLY saving grace of this product, other than the lovely scent and packaging, would probably be the oil control efficacy. When using this, I found that my face was a lot less shinier at the end of the day. If you're an oily girl like me who wear glasses, you'll understand the pain and annoyance of having your glasses slipping down your oily, slippery nose every other few seconds of pushing it back up. But when I was using this product, my glasses pretty much stayed put on my nose throughout the day.
And yes, I said, "when I WAS using..."
And why am I not using this anymore? Because THIS BROKE ME OUT. I developed TONS of whiteheads around my nose (the butterfly area) and on my chin. And it kind of make sense that it happened because something in this product is preventing my facial sebum from coming out from my pores to the skin surface and hence everything got clogged inside and formed whiteheads.
So, this product doesn't really do oily ladies good, and neither will it do dry ladies good (because it's more mattifying than hydrating).
So really, what's with the hype, huh?

Today I want to introduce Aprilskin’s mega best seller Magic Snow Cushion Pink!! Even before I saw the actual products and test them I knew I have to buy them. BECAUSE I LOVE PIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK!! I am a pink admirer! But the pink colored container is not the only reason why I love this product so much. Aprilskin is a very popular brand in Korea. Actually my friend recommended Aprilskin’s Magic Snow Cream, I never expected this would make my skin so much brighter and vivid. (I’m not talking about unnatural whitey stuffs) It literally made my skin brighter!! I don’t think I can’t do makeup anymore without this. I always blend this with other products.
Aprilskin Magic Snow Cushion is CC (color correcting cushion.) It has 4colors – pink, green, purple and beige. The cushion contains cherry blossom extract so it gives off very pleasant cherry blossom smell. LOVE IT!!!! Even puff is pink colored. It has very light texture and absolutely no stickiness at all. Amazingly, SPF is high (SPF 50+ / PA+++) enough to be used for sunscreen. And they got accredited as dual functional cosmetics (brightening / anti-aging) from KDFA.
Ah, let’s look at the color right now.

This cushion is soooooooooo moisturizing and it is super nice for the correction makeup. I mean especially in the summer like this, makeup easily goes away and skin looks dull so easily even you do the completely good looking makeup in the morning. So, we need this bright & moisturizing CC cushion to conveniently correct our skin. I mean, feel this rice cake like puff. You will understand what I am saying.

Last week as I was watching Big in HD format, I realised that the super beautiful Lee Min Jung 이민정actually had blackheads on her nose. Good lord, she is human after all. Muahaha. I guess that made me feel slightly better about my nose, but it doesn’t mean I’ll tolerate these illegal immigrants squatting on my nose. Begone blackheads!
I’d always been using the Kao Biore Blackhead Removal strips, but as anyone with half an ounce of beauty sense should know, it is really harsh on the skin. During my last trip to Korea, I bought a truckload of Laneige products, especially those that had the “New” tag on it, and this was one of my purchases.
The silicon applicator tip makes for gentle and yet efficient massaging.
The clear gel heats up after being applied and massaged into your skin.
After applying – visibly smaller pores and less blackheads!

Obviously this works! Simply apply it onto your nose, massage with the silicon applicator for about 20-30 seconds (and there will be a gentle warming sensation), leave it on for another 20-30 seconds and then wash it off.
- It’s easy and convenient to apply – there’s no need to use your hands, add water, and it doesn’t drip all over the place too.
- It shrinks the pores (pictures don’t lie!)
- It removes the blackheads.
Don’t leave it on for too long though – you’ll end up with dry / burnt skin. Otherwise, it’s pretty much an idiot-proof item. It’s supposed to work better with the Laneige Blackhead Pore Strip (similar to the Biore ones), but they don’t seem to remove as many blackheads as the Biore ones.
